5. Clients are strongly recommended to purchase Trip Cancellation coverage for
their own protection. Unusual Italy, LLC, does not provide this service.

Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions and every booking must be accompanied by a
signed booking form and applicable deposit.
1) Bookings & Deposits (please refer to the appropriate section)
- Professional Fees and Personalized Local Itineraries
— Since we are travel consultants and carefully customize your itinerary,
we charge professional fees. Professional fees are charged on an hourly basis.
We will inform you of our hourly rates and the number of hours we believe will
be necessary to customize and plan your trip in our initial proposal. While we
do not always require that our professional fees are paid in full when you retain
our services, a non-refundable deposit is always required with respect to our professional
fees. Full payment of our fees is expected at the time of confirmation of your trip unless
special arrangements are made with Unusual Italy, but in any case, at least ninety (90) days prior to departure.
Our professional fees are non-refundable.
The consultation charges include personalized assistance in itinerary planning,
accommodation selection and any other arrangements deemed necessary by Unusual Italy
to plan and reserve services on your behalf.
- Services — Full payment is expected at the time of registration for services
including, but not limited to, exclusive English guided tours, driver services, escort
services, transfer services or any other special service which you book directly.
- Hotels — In order to confirm your hotel reservation, Unusual Italy, LLC ("Unusual Italy")
provides the hotel with your credit card information (via facsimile). You will be charged for the total
cost of hotel charges by the hotel itself at check-out time. In some instances, a hotel may require a one
(1) night deposit which is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. However, if you ask, we will inform
you of a particular hotels policy before proceeding with your reservations.
- Rentals — A deposit of 50% of the total rental cost must be submitted
simultaneously with the booking form in order to reserve a rental space. The balance
of the rental cost must be paid at least 90 days prior to your departure. For information
regarding cancellations, please refer to section 3 below.
- Bed and Breakfasts — B & Bs often require prepayment of 2 or more nights, but do
not accept credit cards. As an accommodation to you, Unusual Italy can wire, upon receipt from
you, money on your behalf. However, you are responsible for any wiring fees incurred by Unusual
Italy ($40 per transaction).
Please complete, sign and mail the booking form to Unusual Italy with the appropriate deposit
(please refer to Unusual Italy's proposal for the appropriate deposit amount). Payment can be made to
Unusual Italy via personal, bank or certified check or wire transfer. Although we presently do not accept payment by
credit card, we hope to be able to accept payment in this form in the near future.
Please note that no reservation with Unusual Italy will be effective until we have received the
appropriate deposit and a signed booking form.
2) Final Payment
Unless otherwise specified herein, full and final payment is due at Unusual Italy's offices at
least ninety (90) days prior to departure from the US.
If full payment is not received by Unusual Italy on or before the due date, Unusual Italy
reserves the right to cancel the booking without providing any notice.
If bookings are made 90 days or less prior to departure, you will be required to pay the
full amount due at the time of booking.
3) Cancellation
Unusual Italy requires that all cancellations be in writing and sent
directly to the offices of Unusual Italy. The effect of a cancellation on your deposit
depends on the nature of the trip planned, the time of the cancellation and the specific service provider.
Please note that Unusual Italy does not determine the refund policies of any of the service providers
including but not limited to property owners, but if asked, will inform you of a specific providers policies
prior to confirming your trip.
- Rentals and Bed & Breakfasts If you have booked your trip at least ninety (90) days prior to your
departure and paid a 50% deposit, this deposit may be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
Deposits will be refunded only to the extent Unusual Italy is able to recover monies forwarded to the rental
or bed & breakfast, minus any professional fees incurred by Unusual Italy on your behalf, the costs of
recovery and any other expenses (including attorneys fees) incurred by Unusual Italy. If you cancel your trip less than ninety (90) days prior to your departure date, your deposit may be non-refundable and you will also be responsible for the balance of all costs due Unusual Italy, including but not limited to professional fees, costs and any and all expenditures made by Unusual Italy in connection with your trip.
4) Cancellation Insurance
Clients are strongly advised to purchase trip cancellation insurance. Unusual Italy does not provide this service.
5) General Information
Your exclusive personalized itinerary, instructions, maps and directions and any other pertinent information
will be mailed to you upon receipt of final payment.
6) Important Information
The hotels, property rental agents and other service suppliers are independent contractors. They are not agents,
employees, servants of, or joint venturers with Unusual Italy. By booking a trip through Unusual Italy, you agree that Unusual Italy shall not be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death or property loss) or expense occasioned by any act(s) or omission(s) of any hotel employee or agent, rental employee or agent, service provider or occurring in connection with your trip in any manner whatsoever. You also agree to indemnify Unusual Italy and hold Unusual Italy harmless for any and all claims arising from a violation of the terms and conditions of this agreement and for any third party claims. Unusual Italy shall not be liable for any delay(s), change(s), rescheduling(s) or sudden or unanticipated interruption(s) of your trip due to illness, death in the family, military or governmental act(s), act(s) of God or any other reason.
7) Attorneys Fees
In the event you cancel your trip or violate any of the above terms and conditions, you will be responsible for
all attorneys fees, costs and any other expenses incurred by Unusual Italy in pursuing any of its rights and
remedies at law or equity. You will also be responsible for any judgments, including but not limited to attorney's
fees, costs and interest, rendered against Unusual Italy as a result of any suits or claims commenced by any third party
as a result of your cancellation or violation of this Agreement.
8) Late Fees
In the event that you fail to pay Unusual Italy in a timely manner in accordance with the terms of the booking
contract, you will be subject to a late fee in the amount of $100.00.
